The New Year finds many still reeling from the events of the old one, with time proving slow to resolve the anxiety and fear spurred by our country’s uncertain course. However, to paraphrase Christian scripture, “We were born for a time such as this.” Journalist, author, and longtime friend of Westside, Marcus Harrison Green will remind us of our earnest duty to cultivate courage, resilience, community and determination in this fraught age, so we may lay the foundation for a better one.
