Christmas Eve Service -We Have an Old Story to Tell – Rev. Carter Smith

Note – there will be no 10:30 am service on Sunday, Dec. 24th. Instead we will have an evening Christmas Eve Service at 5:00. In the Christmas story, we learn that the sacred chooses to enter the world in surprising, messy, and humble places. Gather together to celebrate the miracles that persist within our ordinary, imperfect lives. This multigenerational service will be full of storytelling, community singing, and celebration of new life. Come into this community as we offer each other a light in the dark. December Community Circle

All are invited into WSUU’s community circle on Sunday, December 3rd! This circle will explore our barriers to love and whole-hearted connection. This circle is part of the right relations work we are engaging in to help us build trust, foster authentic communication, and support systemic change that creates connection. Community-wide circles will be offered on the first Sunday of each month from Doors open at 10:00 am for coffee, tea and community connection. Circle is 10:30 am – 12:00 noon in the Social Hall, with an option to participate remotely. RE will be offered for children and youth. Registration will close at 9:00 pm

Winter Solstice Celebration

December 21st, 6:30-7:30pm In the WSUU Social Hall Hosted by Rev. Carter Smith, Jade Wilde and the WSUU worship team. Come together to celebrate the darkest night of the year. This informal worship gathering will be a time of ritual and  chanting and honoring the lessons of the natural world this winter. Bring your grief and your hope as the wheel of the year turns yet again. Gather in sacred community to settle into the fertile darkness for a brief time as we get ready to welcome back the light.
