Greetings:
This Sunday we’ll be learning a bit about James Luther Adams, a UU theologian, who said “We are not saved by faith or love alone, but by the courage to act upon both.”
In RE we will have a fun interdependence group braiding activity and a quiet contemplative mini zines station where we examine what we’re good at, things we bring to the group, and how we all need support sometimes.
What do you think it’ll be easier to think about — what you bring or what you need?
We will have our usual RE activity stations including immigrant solidarity coloring pages and tiny houses/sanctuary making especially for those who might have missed last weekend’s Immigrant Solidarity Action Day.
We also have multiple events this weekend for 8th-12th graders. Please check our youth section below.
In gratitude,
Leilani Davenberry
Director of Religious Education
