Now is the perfect time for Westside families to register their 8-12th graders for Spring Youth Conference April 24 – 26 link.

My friend, Amanda Alice, asked me to share her invite with all our Westside youth 8-12th grades and families. Amanda says “We are excited to be hosting the next youth conference – InCONvenient Community Con – this spring at East Shore Unitarian Church in Bellevue, Washington! You are invited to attend—please register and help spread the word.

Youth conferences, or “cons” for short, are led by youth from our region, including UU! As you probably definitely know, CONS are a weekend-long regional gathering of Unitarian Universalist youth where teens from all over the Pacific Northwest come together for worship, workshops, learning, fun, and community building. It is also a chance to take on leadership roles and share things you’re excited and passionate about, so get involved and sign up today.”

If you register, please email dre@wsuu.org as we’re ready to help with registration fees. We also welcome donations for youth group so we can help youths attend cons. 

We also would be happy to help coordinate transportation to and from Spring Con (to Bellevue Friday evening and back to Westside Sunday afternoon). If you have questions about Spring Con or Cons in general, please do not hesitate to email me.
