2026 G.A. Delegate Bios:
Quinlan Porter has been actively involved with Westside for two years, and became a member a year and a half ago. They are a young adult who is serving as an usher and is open and committed to hearing from all Westside members about what is important to us at the General Assembly. They/he is committed to working together as a team with the other GA delegates, and bringing back new ideas from the General Assembly to share with all of us at Westside. Quinlan looks forward to having opportunities to meet other UUs from outside of Seattle and Westside.
Elizabeth Porter Dorman, Quinlan Porter’s mother, began attending Westside two years ago and joined along with Quinlan, a year and a half ago. Elizabeth serves on the SOUL (Support, Outreach, Understanding and Listening) Team and the Racial Justice Change Team. Elizabeth is also a head greeter. Elizabeth is committed to representing all of us at Westside, in all our diversity. She looks forward to bringing back new and interesting things/ideas to share with the congregation.
Cynthia Jackson served as GA Delegate last year, returning with a wealth of inspiration and ideas and enthusiastic energy which she consistently shares with Westside. She served as Westside’s board president two years ago, and is currently serving a second year on the board as past president. Cindy has been a mainstay of the Racial Justice Change Team for many years.
Cynthia Townsend is a long time Westside member and was a Delegate to the General Assembly two years ago. Cynthia is very interested in and pays ongoing attention to what’s happening at UUA, and consistently shares what she learns. The UUA offers a wealth of activities, groups, and relationships, and Cynthia regularly takes advantage of these. In particular, she is devoted to equity, inclusion, and undoing the harms of racism, including as a member of Westside’s Racial Justice Change Team.
