Proposed 8th UU Principle:

“We, the member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association, covenant to affirm and promote: journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.”

  • Your submission must include your first and last name. No anonymous comments will be posted.
  • Please share only about the 8th Principle discernment
  • Reflections are your personal perspective, not a response to another’s post.
  • Posts are limited to 7000 characters or about 2.5 pages.
  • No derogatory language towards individuals or groups.
  • Admin reserves the right to delete any posts which do not conform to these guidelines.

Also, if you wish to follow up off-line with someone whose post you viewed, please ask their permission to do so. Do not assume their post is an invitation for further dialogue without confirming it with them.
