On March 8th from 12:00 -1:00 pm in the Fireside room, join Kristina Darnell and Tracy Burrows for an Equity Tool Support Session. This is your chance to either view for the first time or take a deeper dive into the most current version of the WSUU Congregation Equity Decision-Making Toolcreated by the WSUU Racial Justice Change Team, presented to the Board in October as well as the Leadership Assembly meeting on January 12th. The purpose of this tool is to encourage everyone involved within our congregation to think about and address the equity impacts of our choices in programming, worship language and structure, RE curriculum, staffing, funding, and policy. The purpose of the March 8th Support Session is to create an opportunity for folks to gain a deeper understanding of how the tool can support a more equitable decision-making process, to practice using the tool, and to ask clarifying questions of Kristina and Tracy, the original developers of the Westside version of this tool. All are welcome! Please contact Tracy Burrows (teburrows@zoho.com) or Kristina Darnell (kristinadarnell@gmail.com) if you have questions, or if you want more information about this equity tool.
