As we approach the 60th Anniversary of the merger of the American Unitarian Association and the Universalist Church of America that became the Unitarian Universalist Association in 1961, we look at the leadership role that youth communities of each organization took in making that merger come together. Indeed, in so many aspects of our tradition’s evolution our youth have led the way. This continues today, as we see the values and commitments that our youth express in their covenants guiding our shared faith forward.
