Minister

Greetings and salutations!

I’m Rev. Christopher Wulff, Minister of the Westside UU Congregation. I was called to serve by a vote of the congregation in May of 2019, and after travails with work visas, birth certificates, and border crossings during a pandemic, finally started serving the congregation in July of 2020, and arrived in Seattle that September with my family.

You can reach me by email at minister@wsuu.org or by text/voice at 206-705-3010.

A little about me

  • My family includes my wife, Ariel, and our two little guys, five-year-old Rowan and nine-month old Benjamin. Ariel and I are celebrating our five-year wedding anniversary this spring (2021) as well as ten years as partners in the fall.
  • I grew up splitting my time between downtown Toronto, and a communal living group in the Ottawa Valley, which provided a wealth of exposure to different communities (Toronto being the most ethnically diverse city in the world) and an environment that was very nurturing of both independence and interdependence.

I want to acknowledge that I grew up on the traditional lands of the Anishnaabe Mississauga, the Haudenosaunee, Ojibway/Chippewa, and Huron-Wendat peoples.  This territory was the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, and is also covered by the Upper Canada Treaties. As a person of settler heritage, I strive to help heal the wounds of our past and our present, in the essential and ongoing work of reconciliation.
