Racial Justice Book Event: George Takei’s Memoir of Japanese American Internment
Join WSUU’s Racial Justice Change Team (RJCT) on Sunday, May 31st at 2:00 pm at the Southwest Library for a watch party on George Takei’s graphic memoir “They Called Us Enemy.” This is a fifth Sunday event that you can attend on a day when there is no morning worship service. Published in 2019, “They Called Us Enemy” is a New York Times bestselling graphic memoir which recounts Takei’s childhood imprisoned within American concentration camps during World War II.
