Folks can meet us at 10:30 am directly at the playground area at Lake Burien Memorial Park or or we’ll meet you outside church between 10 and 10:15 am and give rides to folks that need them, please let us know you’re coming so we can be sure to look for you and your family. Lake Burien Memorial Park located at 1620 SW 149th Street, Burien provides 4.6 acres of active use space including open lawn area, tennis courts, walking trail, playground, and restrooms. The amenities of the park make it a great place for community events, such as summertime concerts. There are some picnic tables and benches for sitting as well as the nice grass at this park. This park has accessible parking and is flat with a paved walking path and the playground includes  nets, slides, belts and climbers providing lots of fun and challenges that promote physical development and strategic thinking, while also creating hangouts where kids can take a break and connect with others. All Westside families and folks interested in Westside’s Parenting Group are welcome to attend with your families. Please note there is no RE content and no RE volunteers on the 3rd Sunday August instead we’ll be playing and chatting and hanging in the park together.
