Event Start Date:05/13/2026Event End Date:05/13/2026Event Venue:Sunday, May 17 10:30 am – 12:00 noon Environmental Justice Whole Congregation Event In the Social Hall, coffee and tea provided All of Westside – including families, teens and children – are invited to join Westside’s Environmental Justice Team for Eco Grief and Beyond. “In a safe space, we will explore and share together our pain for the world, its seeming unraveling. In community, we can begin to move from despair and paralysis to feeling strengthened and moved toward action. Let’s meet in the Social Hall from 10:30 am – 12:00 noon for this important event.” We will be offering family friendly activities such as Earth and Nature coloring pages inside the Social Hall and featuring a special outdoor activity: making miniature Fairy Garden or Dinosaur Garden activities that the children can take home. Please have your child/children wear gardening friendly clothing. Families are invited to attend with their children. This is not a child drop-off event, so parents/caregivers will be expected to stay onsite with their children. A special note to families, we won’t be having a separate parent group meeting this 3rd Sunday instead we’ll be joining in the Environmental Justice Team’s All Congregation Event.
