January 7 Community Circle – Right Relations: Nurturing and Sustaining Community
From 10:30 am to 12:00 pmEvent Start Date:09/17/2024Event End Date:09/17/2024Event Venue:Westside Social Hall – access from north parking lot Doors open at 10:00am for coffee and conversation. Circle begins at 10:30am. In 2007, our Congregation voted to adopt a Covenant of Right Relations that established a list of actions that members will “strive to do as they participate in the life of the congregation.” Over the years since, our community has evolved and is developing a broader understanding of what it means to nurture and sustain a thriving community. At the January 7th community circle, we’ll begin a process to define our collective aspirations. We aim to be a community where everyone can feel supported and support one another and where we hold each other in care as we come back into covenantal relationships when disconnections occur. We invite you to join us to share your hopes for our community and contribute your ideas to shape an inclusive approach. We seek to capture the richness of our diversity and the evolving nature of our shared experience. Together, let’s begin to build a community that thrives on mutual support, understanding, and a commitment to repair and strengthen the bonds that connect us. Questions? coreteam@wsuu.org Click here to RSVP. Remote participation on Zoom will be supported.
