Folks can meet us directly at the Westcrest new playground in the northwest area of the park near the restrooms. Or we’ll meet you in the church parking lot between 10 and 10:15 am, please let us know you’re coming so we can be sure to look for you and your family. You could also meet us in the church parking lot and follow us in your car if you’re feeling unsure of how to drive to the park. If you need shade, please note there is very little shade near the playground, if you need shade – please bring your shade umbrella and your favorite sunhat and unscented sunscreen. There are picnic tables and benches at the park near the playground so you don’t have to bring chairs. Feel free to bring snacks to share but you don’t have to, we’ll have some for all. All Westside families and folks interested in Westside’s Parenting Group are welcome to attend with your families. Please note there is no RE content and no RE volunteers on the 3rd Sunday of July and August instead we’ll be playing and chatting and hanging in the park together. WSUU Parenting Group meeting will be at Westcrest Park and it is located at 9000 8th Ave. SW, Seattle, WA 98106 on a hill above and west of Boeing Field in southwest Seattle. It contains approximately 8.4 acres and features open spaces and paths, newly improved play areas, restrooms and lots of open space. We will be meeting at the Westcrest Park Playground area and recommend parking in the lot off of 8th Ave SW with its entrance between SW Cloverdale St and SW Trenton St near the restrooms; this is the northwest area of the park.)
