Blue Holiday Service
Thursday, December 21 at 7:00 pm. Westside's Sanctuary
Rev Alex Holt
Christmas and other seasonal holidays can be a painful time. The loss of loved ones, the anguish of a broken relationship, the insecurity of employment, the weariness of poor health, the pain of isolation, or the pressure of holiday preparations and activity - all these can make us feel alone in the midst of celebrations of the season. This will be a time for people to share their deeper feelings of loss or isolation during the holiday season. No childcare available.

New Year’s Eve Atonement Service
Sunday, December 31, 10:30 a.m. Rev Alex Holt
This final day of 2017 will be an informal multi-generational service with no music, Religious Education or staff other than Alex. Everyone will be encouraged to use flash-paper to write down those things they wish to atone for from 2017 and then burn them as a way of letting go. There will also be pebbles from a beach in Maine for people to take home representing New Year's resolutions. All welcome.
